Introduction Kolej Yayasan Melaka (KYM) was established in 1997 as an institution of higher learning by the Malacca State Government. Launched by Y.B. Dato' Mohd. Najib Tun Razak on 23rd March 1997, KYM has its own distinguished agenda and objective to facilitate the realisation of the government's vision of making Malaysia the centre of educational excellence in the region. KYM is the best alternative for qualified students who were unsuccessful to get a local university placement due to limited capacities.
