LONDON, WED 25 MAY – Going Global will be held for the first time in South East Asia when Malaysia is given the honour to co-host Going Global 2018 with the British Council in Kuala Lumpur from 2 - 4 May 2018.

Going Global is British Council’s world leading international education conference attracting governments, ministers, policy makers, institutions and senior education leaders from across the world. “Malaysia is the first country in ASEAN to be chosen as venue of Going Global and this is an acknowledgement of the Ministry’s efforts and Malaysia’s achievements in improving the delivery of higher education,” said Tan Sri Dr Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur, Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education who represented Malaysia at the closing session of Going Global 2017 and handing over ceremony of Going Global 2018.
